AUGUST - Although the day was grey and overcast and quite chilly for August, the "annual" Walking Treasure Hunt was well supported and 29 members made their way to Thaxted to be put to the test of seeking the answers to clues set by Pam Bangert and Maureen Laming. An enjoyable lunch was arranged in The Swan Hotel where John and Ann Franey and Brian and Yvonne Leith were announced joint winners.
