APRIL - A 20-strong male group of singers - "Chelmsford Star Harmony" - entertained more than 90 members to a musical evening mainly in the barbershop style of acappella singing. After an hour-long performance members enjoyed a tasty supper provided by Annette Dwyer-Joyce, which was followed by a second hour of entertainment. The group kept members entertained with popular songs, amusing stories, and a duo (part of the ensemble), sang a selection of standards. The evening was a great success with extremely polished performances given by the group of singers. (Report and Pictures: Brian Leith)
