JANUARY - The New Year's Dinner was well attended with 12 tables filling the Shenfield Parish Hall. All agreed that the event was extremely enjoyable and Lesley Jeans, a former pupil of Annette Dwyer-Joyce's, and her husband Mark, provided a fine meal which started with poached pear with stilton mousse. This was followed by roast ribeye of beef and roast turkey with a medley of vegetables and roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and finished with peach and passion fruit tart. Coffee and mints ended the meal. A table quiz of dingbats provided some amusement. (Report and photos: Brian Leith)
