NOVEMBER - Fifteen teams of mainly six (one or two tables contained seven), battled it out for honours at a quiz night recently. The questions were set by Judith Finn, Convenor of Theatre Group Three, and totting up the scores was your editor, Brian Leith. During the interval a tasty supper of lasagne with salad and delicious deserts was provided by Social Secretary, Annette Dwyer-Joyce. After a close-run contest eventual winners, with just two points more that the second-placed team were Bob and Annette Dwyer-Joyce, Eric and Rosemary Morris and Harry and Barbara Dennehy.
